About Ana Maria

Compromised in passion and excellence for everything done by her, Ana Maria is a self-taught designer with the ability to create eloquent and unique pieces. Having discovered the beauty of handcrafted jewelries and further driven by their virtuosity and uniqueness, she took to the challenge of designing and making her own pieces.

Striving for perfection meant developing her personal mastery through hard work, long nights practicing, honing her technique and fervent learning of various materials from a horde of specialty books, magazines, albums and tutorials.

Though still believing that she has more to learn, Ana Maria’s hard work has paid dividends having achieved four years experience in bespoke jewellery making. Additionally she has been awarded the Silver Medal Prize in the prestigious Fire Mountains Gems design competition and has successfully achieved 2nd place in the Wirework category of British Bead Awards.

This knowledge in working with ‘wire’ has provided Ana Maria with creative freedom when designing a specific piece, allowing her to incorporate a mixture of materials such as crystal, pearl, embroideries, threads and seed beads. Similarly the confidence in her ability enables her to use unconventional materials if required. Her ability in working with a number of different fabrics and materials culminates in pieces that showcase the love and appreciation for colour, shape and texture.

If you have viewed Ana Maria’s exquisite collection but are looking for something more specific, we encourage you to book an appointment for a bespoke service to aid in the creation of a piece that is befitting, unique and specific to your needs. All existing designs can be customised in colour and size and even enchanted with a bright idea to match your desires.
